Join FEF & our West Side school community for our Fall Fundraiser, Jog-a-thon! Whether you help gather pledges, bring in community sponsorships, and/or volunteer during the event, there's room for you to join the fun! This Event raises crucial funds for our West Side Students Education, contributing to the program costs of Music, Art, PE, Garden & more.

STUDENTS RUN THE JOGATHON ON OCTOBER 17TH
SCHEDULE
8:00am
“Set up crew” volunteers meet in Phoenix Hall to prepare for the race.
8:45am
Classes line up on the basketball court. Mrs. Meechan makes announcements, Coach Tiff leads stretches, and the Jog-a-thon begins.
8:45-9:45am
Cups of water & lap tracking bands will be handed out to students by HRC & volunteers.
9:45am
Race ends, clean-up begins, and students follow their teacher’s instructions.
9:45-10:45am
Snacks (donated by WS Families) and a special popsicle treat (donated by HRC) will be handed out during snack recess (no snacks during the event).
2024 SHIRTS
Local artist Levi Miller collaborated with the 6th-grade students to create the 2024 Jog-a-thon logo, and Skye Greish's design was selected for the front of the shirts! The back will proudly display logos from our generous community sponsors.
BANDANAS
Red: Kindergarten
Orange: 1st
Yellow: 2nd
Green: 3rd
Blue: 4th
Indigo: 5th
Violet: 6th
On race day, teachers will distribute Jog-a-thon t-shirts for students to wear during the race. In addition to shirts, all students will receive a bandana in their assigned “class color” to wear during the race
